I set up a WiFi network recently, the trials of which I fear to write here, and eventually gained success. My computers were talking effectively with each other, including internet access between them. Yesterday I decided to swap my computers around, having my laptop as the host and my desktop as a slave, and all hell broke loose.
My internet connection dissappeared, the computers were connected but no way were they working. No file sharing (or disk sharing for that), and, obviously, no internet sharing. I was fuming! Only now, the next day, have I returned my computer to internet ready state.
Will I ever get my WiFi network going properly? Who knows. But I could do with it being ready for when I get my HP5450. THE nattiest handheld on the market! Mmmmm, gadgets!
