Just before 2am this morning, my stepfather and friend, Jim, died here at the apartment.
It doesn't seem right to type that out. It's hard to believe that my friend is gone. He was really sick, but he was a tough guy. But....
This is just too weird.

Many thanks to all for your kind words.
He had kidney failure, Tasty. In the end it was like living with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Every once in a while I'd hear, "GWEN!" That's my mother's name. It was kinda funny, but at the same time really sad cause I knew he didn't have much more time.
