Nice to see an article about one of my favourite series! But I think you have confused the first two books slightly. Drina and her grandparents move to London in Ballet for Drina, and she has her secret lessons, and it ends with her finding out who her mother was. Drina's Dancing Year begins with the audition, and is about her first year at the Dominick.

this was one of my favourite series of books, I have collected numbers 2,3,4,and 5 and am trying to track down the rest so that my daughter can read them. However I had no idea that they went as far as Drina Ballerina and would love to be able to read them.I am a great fan of e-bay and are going to try and track them down

I loved these books as a child. I no longer have any, and I want to find the name of the Drinas little black cat mascot! This is driving me mad, can anyone help?

It was Hansl (at least, I think that's how it was spelt)
