Apologies - I am a Sassenach (though I am fairly Celtic in my roots, lots of half-starved Irish ancestors), and I was very close to moving to Shetland, but I would just like to say that Yes, I know where Scotland is, I the place and if I could find a job I'd probably nove to the West Coast tomorrow. You are a very lucky person to live in such a great country! And I like Runrig too! And Pink Floyd. So please don't hate all us English-types, we're not all ignorant and think haggis is a little furry animal that runs round in the heather...
Cheers!!

no worries mate - i don't dislike particular english people, just the english in general - plus any guide fan can't be THAT bad a person!!
thanks for the spelling of 'sassenach' by the way - i've always wondered but been too afraid to ask...
in other news, did you know that runrig are playing at stirling castle in the summer? if you've never seen them live then believe me its better than a really good thing
just one question - do you get irn-bru down there?
ok two questions - whats your favourite runrig album?

Yeah we get Irn-Bru! We're not totally heathen! As for favourite album, not sure. Probably "Long Distance," mainly cos it was the first one I got I think, and there's a good mix of stuff on there. Fave track is probably Siol Ghoraidh, no idea what they're on about (I haven't got the Gaelic!) but a cracking song nonetheless.
Yeah, I know whatyou mean about "english in general" I've met a lot of Scots who think like that!
Take care
