Today is the first day of the era whereby I no longer have a license for watching telvisual representations in the part of the planet where I live.

It is indeed a strange edict that on a world ruled by monkeys that believe themselves to be the only creaturse in the universe this is the media mogul that does the most indoctrination that their viewers are indded monkeys.

I can't wait for a formal complaint from them that I am indeed a resident at their part of the universe with the capabilities of not watching their output. (The material on offer from them -or their colleagues- is not coersive in that regard so there is little danger of my breaking their laws.)

It is a strange ruling that unless I can prove myself innocent of needing a licence, I shall have my dignity impugned by them (thus proving their theory that they are monkeys if not the theory of having evolved from monkeys.)

I feel it is best to provide at least tenuous circumstantial evidence of my integrity by keeping a copy of the last programme guide to their output that I paid for, providing them with such at their request as proof of lack of inducement to watch their work.

(Not always accurate, these guides cost about as much as the license. I shall not only be saving the cost of the license I shall be divesting myself of an outlay on a medium guide that is only marginally more interesting than the media itself.)

Not the title I would have chosen, this is the third reply to the article "Digital."

Since the second reply contained no information or direct reference to anything digital I should not have been suprised that the guide has made such a mistake. In a world with the mindset of robots I should have expected as much even from the producers of the Guide.

Let this entry remind tourists to this backwoods that nothing is a straight-forward as it might be.

Interesting to note a lack of editoral rights to anything concerning this media's empire pertains as far as guide entries too. I shall take this up with management when I leave.

One expects to be given access to the proofs at least. Imagine if the entry was being supplied by monkeys. How little clarity that would supply to their own opinions of their world if they had no access to their gibberish.

Researcher 219823.
You are being observed.
You should introduce yourself by making an entry in your personal space that way you may get some acknowledgement.
Feel free to identify yourself in any way you please. Any entry you make can be edited as and when you please.
Whatever you choose to enter will most certainly get a response.smiley - ok

When one has knocked around the galaxy a time or two one finds the need to introduce ones self at the local offices of the Guide at every planet rather wearing.

Have you been here long or do you come here often?

Remember - When you contribute to the Guide you are giving the BBC permission to use your contribution in a variety of ways.

Is this a problem when you have no fixed address ?smiley - spacesmiley - biggrin

One might ask the same question about genetics.

The legal system of the USA has given corporate rights to the dna of most of the sentient species of this planet. Is it a defacto decree on other planets as it seem it is in other countries?

Do my notes to the Guide on other planets, simultaneously or otherwise published on this one, permit the creative accounters of the BBC to do what they wish with my material?

Correction:

One might ask the same question about genetics.

The legal system of the USA has given corporate rights to the dna of most of the sentient species of this planet, to one man.* Is it a defacto decree on other planets as it seem it is in other countries?

Do my notes to the Guide on other planets, simultaneously or otherwise published on this one, permit the creative accounters of the BBC to do what they wish with my material?

There is a deficiency on this board that lends another plane to this argument, vis: how do grammatical error and other uncontrollable ideas set out in a message one is not able to remedy deemed in the copyright laws of this country.

Notwithstanding the notice to users pasted on these pages I consider my material in any of its reproductions to be my material.

You must put your question to the Galactic Control Council.
They could be on Digital Channel 42.

Sky News = channel 42; is this some complicit, though tacit nod to the interference to the experiment posed by the Golgafrinchans?

If you were to pay your TV license you would find that Digital Channel 42 would put you in direct contact with the Galactic Control Council.
The only other thing you can do is to make contact with the DHSS or the CAB. You could of course take me to your leader. smiley - smiley
