Well my weekend was fantastic! Went out with a few people from the hostel Friday night and we went to the Phoenix club. It was so weird, last time I was here in '99 we were going to a Q107 rock night at a club, but because I was 18 and had no id to say I was 19 they wouldn't let me in...It was that club!! Couldn't believe it. It was good, little heavy rock room and a big mixed party room - quite reminiscent of the Mayfair crossed with Baja in Newcastle. I'm gonna have to take Sarah and Drew there if they come and see me
After we left there, they were wanting coffee and food, so we went to the Griddle and I got a hug and massage of D and J kept coming over to see me as well. As soon as D found out I'm not working tonight he told me I have to go see his drag act at Cruise, so that's where I'm off to tonight - then J said he was going to the booze can after work and invited me so I hung around and waited fo him to finish. The booze can was fun, although even amongst predominantly gay men I STILL managed to attract the big, old, drunk, high guy...F**k!! Ah well, J looked after me. He kept saying he felt really bad cos I was seeing this other side of him and I seem so innocent to him...Obviously doesn't know me well enough yet Then he asked me which gay clubs I'd been to and when I told him I've never been to one in my life he was like, 'what you doing on Wednesday??' so if I get paid I'm being taken out gay clubbing with him!! He's lovely, I just want to cuddle him. I am worried I saw some cuts on his arms though, I don't know if they're old scars that still look red or what but I don't know how to bring it up so I'll keep it quiet for now and keep an eye on him. Got home 8am Sunday morning!
