h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well I got here 6 weeks yesterday and love it. I'm skint, have worked some crap jobs and am lusting after sexy barmen I'll never get a look in with but it's great!! I'm still in a hostel but the people there are cool , the long term ones that is and my local pub O'Grady's is fab! I'm such a regular there now, every day or 2 I'm in there! The bar staff are sick of seeing me (no, seriously). THere is so much totty in O'G's though, it's hard to concentrate on perving on just one of them...So far there are 2 guys I love to bits and 4 guys who are nice and I wouldn't say no to a drink with (if asked)...And fortunately my fave guy who I thought might be gay most definitely isn't, so a couple of my spies have told me. One of them was quite emphatic about it so I think he's got a girlf - the other one I really like is seeing someone - but I can still perv from afar mwahahaha!!

I'm currently on the 4th day of a temp job just a block from O'G's and I'm really hoping they'll keep me on for a few weeks as I need the cash and it's a good job. Plus it could mean I could quit the Griddle where I waitress which would be nice, or I could pay off a few serious debts in the UK which would be better!!! Since I got off the plane I've had 4 jobs: the Griddle (which I got less than 48 hrs after arriving), Tim Hortons (I did 2 shifts and quit), a temp job at a computer co near the airport which lasted a week and this one...The Canadians I know are very impressed that I've been so gung ho with the jobhunting, apparently they are a bit lazy when it comes to it but I can't afford to be so bugger that!
