I don't need him but it is a part of living in a nice apartment...it can be annoying though when you have allergies.
I have allergies. They let me skip it last time but I will have to let them spray lightly this time. I already have my allergies severely acting up and/or might be sick from the common cold. Last time they sprayed...I kept getting sick and my boyfriend could not even be in the room for around two weeks later. I am not looking foward to this.
I never used to have such allergies. Or maybe I just never noticed it.

This doesn't sound like fun. can you stay elsewhere for a day or two to let the place air out a little or something? can't let yourself get sick by something you have identified, it's not good!

Hi Andrea. I have a hard time being around insecticides and the like. They affect me nuerologicaly.
I hope you do not get ill.
Is that sort of maintenaince is a normal part of having a coffee shop too? I always wondered about the dishes and if they are covered or removed from the spraying areas.
It would be best if you could stay overnite somewhere.
I hope things are good otherwise

Well...I got through it...I left a note asking them to spray lightly and told them not to spray in my closet. Then I told them to leave my windows open...it worked though if you sniffed really hard you could smell it, I don't seem to be sick. Next time they will skip spraying my room I hope (sometimes they are nice enough to do this).
Right now I work at a restaurant to pay for rent, etc. while I go to school. The way they do it:
Only before leave at night
Most of effects of spray gone by morning
Only spray near floor
Special, very expensive lamps that kill bugs...look like ordinary lamps but with a purplish light when they are in dining rooms...usually very pretty...customers don't even know they are there.
Something neat my boyfriend and I saw at a recent visit to an amusement park. A strip of fans all across the top of the door to a pizza place. The way the air blows down from these special fans makes it so hornets, bees, flies, etc. can not get in.

Wow those lamp like things sound like good solutions.
They sell something here you can plug into an outlet but I have no idea if it works.

It's called an air curtain I believe Andrea. We use them quite a lot in Oz during the summer months.
