The Morkal- a tale of terror

In ancient legends speak, beneath the dark currents flow
Awash in whirlpools and churning seaslies waiting in the darkness, the fear
The cold, dead stare of fate grinning
Forever watching and waiting from the ruins of a past lurks the terror of a thousand lies
With a hunger that craved a million souls, hidden dark and cruel
Here in the shadows of a storm sits the beast upon the rocks
With long flowing claws and faces to command fright, here lies the Morkal!
The monster of the night.

The crackle of light across the sky, the ship does she rock
While icy claws catch at its crew another is unleashed
Through the darkness of the mist above the crackle of fire, it roars its summons to the world
No time to run no time to pray
The damned will claim your souls this day, the cold will take them
Down into the dark, down into the pit
The beast will have its feast this night and madness will claim you all.

Forever hungry for your sins, flesh and blood delight
There is no hiding from this force who drinks your very being
Out there it waits and stalks forever on the prowl, the Morkal hunts its prey down
And takes all down there into the cold
The dead, dark icy blue far from hope's fair hand
Where Death does serve this vicious Lord, hungry for your souls
There is but only one escape but that lies in...
