Got your book signed, then went to a publishers do with the objective of asking them to put it up on their website. I showed a woman the book and she took it off me and kept it !!!! Moaned about it to the girl who has supplies and got another copy coming through the post and hopefully I’ll organise myself and get it to you before someone else snatches it away!

Here it is in brown paper wrapper tied up with string and I keep forgetting to walk over the post office with it possible due to old brain cells turning to jelly.

Anyhow . . . the book arrived on Friday!

Of course I read yours first - - as well as a couple of others.

So how's the novel coming? Is it the same one you mentioned before or have you changed to something else?

I'm sitting here at 6am waiting to get a lift to the passport office in Newport.
Jess wasn't allowed on a plane to Florida on Saturday. The rest of the family have gone. She was included on my passport and this no longer viable for travel to the US! I have to drive and see if they'll prepared to get her passport done in a day - this might not happen. The tension is killing me, as did the abortive and pointless trip all over London on Saturday trying to sort it all out and then there was bank holiday. The plan is that I get her a passport and we fly out tomorrow from Gatwick (where my bags are!)Alternatively I won't get a passport in time and we'll come back here and I'll shoot myself.

I've been writing a lot of short stories and entering competitions. One short story has been accepted by the BBC (Radio) but don't have any broadcast dates as yet. There's also a story being published in Venue mag, A Bristol version of time out. Started a children's book - The Bone Box.
