Stuff is good here, too. The landlord has apparently not yet cashed our rent check, so our bank balance is as high as it's been in a loooooooong time, which is nice to see. And we just went shopping and we nearly bought a toaster, but they didn't have any at the store. I think we'll live, though.

Toaster status update: we bought one at Target, but we went to Linens 'N' Things first. They have excellent flannel sheets there, as well as shoe-racky things like Krissy showed us she had, but they were more expensiver.

Then you are required to drive to Chicagamago again and purchayse one at a handy Walgreens.

You see... I have all the fantasmagorical ideas.

We do definitely need to come to Chicagamago again. I personally vote for every weekend, but she keeps looking at me funny when I say that. Chicagamago has stuff we NEED, like The Krissy and Ikea and other stuff, like big water and freezing-ass cold--oh, we've got that too. -4º last night.

I'm not so sure I'm fond of freezing-ass cold. It goes away, right?

Last night it was negative 15 or 20 here in Chicagamago with wind chill. The Freezing-ass cold does indeed go away. Sometime around April.
