h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Andy and I spent the day eating good food. We visited our lawyer and simultaneously signed the papers that start the immigration process and we gave the lawyer a ton of money, so that was romantical and lovely.

The best thing about yesterday though was that we bought my engagement ring. It's a beautiful solitaire diamond with a plain gold band. There are 4 prongs holding the diamond in place and it looks like a proper engagement ring and sparkles like a De Beers commercial.

We got to go and see the gentleman make it, which was really cool. He made it from scratch, so this really is my very own ring that no one has ever tried on or touched or even seen until last night except the jewler, Andy and I. Then he got down on one knee at home and asked me to marry him...again...like he does several times every day.

It was beautiful, the ring is perfect and I love my life. Also we just had lunch and walked around and now my hands smell like his soap. Yummy Andy.

Did you ever look into your mom's eyes over a cup of coffee in the morning and ask, "Do you ever feel 'not so fresh'?" And did she in turn tell you to shut up and eat your cereal before the marshmellow got all soggy with the applesauce?
