if you come to the tea shoppe, you will find that whatever you eat costs .
its easier for us to count it at the end of the day
£6.50 is rather excessive. you could have the whole chicken for that, let alone the egg

Hello there. I'm fine, thanks. I've been exploring h2g2 and this tea shop seemed like a nice place to take a breather.
It's a bit busy, mind: the locals are chatting so much it's hard to get served... think I'll just leave my money on the counter and serve myself.
