You should try - I tend to want to slap my cousins when they crow about South Africa's success.

Buggrit, everything true to form.
Why the change back to simply Swiv, Swiv?

England eh ? what a performance !
Well at least we beat USA at rugby 108 - 6 (or summit like that)
One quuick Question why the hell is Nick Knight not in the goddamn Eng team ?!?!?!?! i mean no offence to Mark Butcher, but he is crud!

Luckily for Warwickshire, who seem to need all the help they can get at the moment, he's never in form when he plays for England.

I support Warks, but i'll still admit in recent times we havent done a whole lot. and as long as Eng dont pick him we have him, but i would still like to see him given 4/5 tests !!

Well, for recent times read "this year"!
I'm a Warwickshire supporter too, so when I say that they need all the help they can get it's out of disappointment and not mindless taunting. I agree though, he should be given a fair shot at establishing himself in the England side. Perhaps things will change now that they've got rid of Gooch and Gatting as selectors.

Maybe just Maybe.
but i can never see an England side winning when we pick second rate county players like Butcher (sorry Mr Butcher Your last Century was when ???) and as for some of the bowlers they have picked....Oh geez, need i mention the batting of Ronnie "i must really like the club house 'cause i spend no time in the crease" Irani
England Smingland i'm off to support Scotland

The England selector's are simply too biased towards Southern clubs, or more specifically south-eastern clubs. But then what can you expect when two of the (now ex-) selectors played for Middlesex and Essex? Things have been improving of late, but it certainly seems that there are county players who have been over-looked for too long.
And another thing... is Ian Botham ever going to be allowed to be properly involved in the England set up? It would seem to make sense to bring the man who was, presumably, an inspiration to today's palyers into the camp.

I agree. Botham has more charisma in his little finger than the current English team enmass. Make him and the captain the only two selectors and if they can't agree Botham gets another vote.
Down in that great cricket nursery of New Zealand we are looking forward to the Australians and West Indians touring here this (southern) summer.
I live across the road from Mclean Park in Napier, Hawke's Bay, where both teams will be playing day/night one day matches. Should be great.

I decided it was easier. And I had an argument with Swiv the other day about Haniski.

And why do England so rarely pick anyone from the south-west? Don't the selectors know of the existence of Taunton.
Rob Turner is a way better batsman wicketkeeper than Chris Read - ugh
