Hmm, Tampere, few notes
Black sausage, loved by many, hated by as many, only eaten in Tampere and surrounding area
Rajaportin sauna, oldest still warmed public sauna in Finland
Pispalan harju, beautifull place, full of history
Home of Finnish ice hockey
I've only visited Tampere for few days, but those are things I think as reasons why Tampere is Tampere.

and remember to visit sarkanniemi.fi <--- it's absolutely the best place in Tampere. I'm going to go there soon, because summer is not summer without särkänniemi. 8< And I know that I'm going to vomit, especially after "tornado".
