Well, its that time of year again, it comes round so quickly. Everyone is revising and slogging solidly through theirs, even kids as young as 9 let me add. Its an outrage that such young children should be made to do exams, especially when their reseluts are purely for statistics, the enjoyment of mathematicians!
Im doing me AS, and well, its hilarious fun i can tell you. Im absolutely shattered, and no matter how much sleep i get, im stil tired. According to my Psychology module on stress, im in the later phases of stress, where any addictional stressor will have a dramatic effect. My immune system is lower than it should be and my body is tired. Should we really be putting teenagers through three straight years of exams, GCSE'S, AS, then A-level? And more to the point, should we be putting nine year olds through this kind of stress? Especially with the ambitious parents there are today. And we wonder why there is an increase in stress related illness.
