h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So, ive been to the Ice Hockey Playoff Semis and Finals this weekend. The National Ice Centre in Nottingham was packed out with fans from all over the uk. Credit must be given to Belfast Giants supporters who even challendeg Sheffield Steelers supporters with the number of decibels they were throwing out!
Sat: The Semis
Sheffield Steelers vs Belfast Giants, a superb match, the hockey played was some of the best, and cleanest i might add of the whole weekend. The only game where no blood appeared on the ice. Unfortunatly, for Steelers supporters like myself, we lost by one penalty shot after a nil-nil draw and 5 minutes of sudden death overtime.
Nottingham Panther vs London Knights, a bloody and very exciting match. Three all right up to the end when the Knights stunned the crowd and quite probably set a new record. They scored their 4th winning goal at 0.2 seconds before the end of the match! You wont find a Panthers suporter on 02 anymore!

Sun: THE FINAL
Belfast Giants vs London Knights, another exciting match and again bloody. Stretcher brought onto the ice a couple of times! Final score was 5-3 to the Giants after the Knights mistakenly pulled their goalie in the last couple of minutes of the game!

So, a wonderful weekend. My ticket is signed by Rick Brebrant, Mike Blaisdell and Calle Carlsson, it will be framed! Heres to the world of hockey and the new Elite League due to start up next year. Any single Canadian hockey players, do drop me some mail!
