It is Syd, as in Barrett, not Sid, so perhaps he's spent time out of his head as a tax dodge! The double Pink Floyd/Sex Pistols reference was deliberate!
You're undoubtedly right about my having been in the rock business too long - I stop being 42 next Tuesday! I did wonder whether I should throw in some more contemporary music jokes for the young folks, but Beatles gags are more widely understood than Polyphonic Spree jokes, much as I love the latter ensemble.

Well you could throw in a few 'Oasis-jokes'...there must be plenty of them. Though I can imagine that 'Massive Attack-references' may come to mind sooner. Hmmmmm, Tricky...
Not easy to make a joke about Portishead though.
