I don't normally use this section of h2g2, but 2 days ago was such a bad day for me I want to keep a note of it. Here in Blackpool, I totally hate the holiday season when all the holiday makers come down here, because the town centre, including the shops, get overcrowded and it's literaly impossible to walk about. Most people I've noticed have no sense of direction, people are always walking right in front of me as if I'm invisible. It's almost like beign surrounded by zombies. But the final straw came when I almost got run over by a car by an elderly person. I'm beggining to agree with people who say that old ppl can be just as dangerous on the road as younger reckless drivers. For different reasons of course. Younger ppl do it because they get their kicks out of it and it makes them feel big, older ppl on the other hand don't drive bad on purpose, they do it because of lack of vision and hearing. I'm not meaning that in a bad way. Important note: I'm not suggesting all young ppl and old ppl are bad drivers, nor am I suggesting that all middle-aged drivers drive sensibly because of the fact that the majority of road accidents are caused by the younger generation.
