Hmm, just got the (Redux) DVD out. I never noticed this before, but the trailer on the disc is in the proper ratio, be it 2.35 or 2.40...
I'm almost slightly annoyed now. The framing on the trailer looks so much more natural. You can see all of Martin Sheen's head in that shot near the beginning...
