I'm afraid that you are wrong. The Dinosaurs did in fact exist and did roam the earth up until 65 million years ago (I have a fossil rib here on my desk - it spoke to me).
Still, this means that the Magrathean story is a myth, not true, absolute made-up rubbish, as is a lt of what are suggested to be facts about the Earth (and Universe) and how it now 'all fits into place' that have been presented in the hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy.
Another piece of evidence that strongly suggests that my little bone is right is American scientists. A typical one will say that if it were not for the Dinosaurs dying out then 'WE WOULD NOT BE HERE' (they also try as hard as possible to talk about meteorites and clouds of poisonous gases and raging fires at this point too). Thus, for dinosaurs to die out they must have once been living, thus, in retrospect dinosaurs existed because we are here: I am typing this now (and thats a real fact).
