If you're getting the corticosteroids for the rheumatoid arthritis, you're ahead of the game. smiley - ok The raspberry leaf tea is supposed to provide nutritional profactor support. If it doesn't agree with you it may not be quite the right thing. My own tastes on these things have changed many times over the years. Some things I used to like I can no longer take. On the other hand some things that didn't agree with me at first later did. The first time I tried ginseng it actually made me sick. That never happened again and later I got onto a preparation of 98% siberian ginseng from Hokkaido with 2% Mongolian licorice and I was really hooked.

(...language on that, allergens and alteratives, representing opposites in immunological impact. Allergens usually produce no reactions on first exposure, but adverse reactions afterward. The reverse obtains with alteratives. Ginseng is usually classed as an alterative in the herbal literature.)

As to how much of the raspberry leaf tea to use, really as much or as little as you like.

Other acquired tastes, two that hit me kind of hard and in the same way the first time I tried them, sen-sen candy and Norwegian caramelized whey cheese. The first is a concentrated herbal licorice extract. Both put my taste buds into an 'overload' state on first exposure. (All the taste buds go off at once on maximum.) I later found the latter a tremendous flavor enhancer for chocolate and both kind of grew on me.smiley - esuom
