Welcome to h2g2! I'm Whoami? , I'm real, I exist, I'm typing this message especially for you. I'm one of h2g2's resident volunteer Aces, and have been for quite a while. It's lovely to see that you've decided to come and join h2g2 now that LD is no longer available online. My job here involves welcoming new Researchers and helping them to settle in.

h2g2 is a *very* different place. However, it's also a wonderful place, and it's absolutely massive. This is one reasion why I'm here - I'm going to furnish you with a few links to help you get used to h2g2.

Firstly, h2g2 has hundreds (no, literally *hundreds*!) of smileys (you might previously have called them 'emoticons'). There's a full list including codes at <./>Smiley</.>.

Once you've done that, why not pay the <./>Read</.>, <./>Talk</.> and <./>Contribute</.> pages a visit? They'll tell you how best to get involved in the community. You should also take a peek at <./>ThePost</.>, which is h2g2's own community weekly newspaper. It's so respected here that it's even got it's own smiley: .

hi just found your post,im pretty much lost lol,an ace send me links that would be usefull for getin in touch with other leisure district users...they have dissapered from my space i think it mite be my brain thats dissapered lol hope you can help fern x

OK. Your space is dynamic and so some things may appear to disappear - but in reality they'll still be there somewhere. I'll have a look for you now!

To turn those pages into links, you need to surround them with a special code:

< . / > U 2 0 1 5 6 7 < / . > (remove all the spaces) becomes <./>U201567</.>
< . / > A 9 4 8 6 0 2 < / . > (remove all the spaces) becomes <./>A948602</.> etc.
