h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I thought as I'd just mentioned no longer living in a garage in my last entry and hadn't actually mentioned living in one in the first place that I'd better get on with doing so. To summerise; since landing in August 2002 I've been living in a variety of garages, the best one being the last one for the obvious reason that I don't live there anymore. to briefly describe it it was a double bay type with carpet, a shower, kitchen (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA), dining room, and living room with two bedrooms (Also HAHAHAHAHA) attached as an afterthought. The main feature was by the front door, a doorbell at first glance although slightly odd being as it was on the inside of the property. at one push the wall rose up under the ceiling and what was laughingly referred to as the chandelier housing the mechanism for the wall and a nifty 20 watt light bulb that couldn't be turned off until 15 minutes had passed from pressing the 'doorbell.'
