Lost in a field

Sean and I walked to the shop in the next village today, to buy ice cream. We started walking home and decided to divert because I knew there's a footpath that runs roughly parallel to the road. We found it and followed it for a while, enjoying the ice creams and sun, and saying hello to a few cows as we passed.
Then the path stopped.
We ended up trekking across a field, knee-deep in grass and the occasional thistle, heading in the vague direction of a crane which is near our house. Very fun Hard work though. Funnily enough we weren't much later than if we'd come back on the road - we seemed to move faster over the fields than on the pavement, for some reason.

I've decided to spend a third year at Sixth Form. The main purpose of this is to allow me to take A2 French, thus cunningly side-stepping various timetabling clashes. It also allows me to pick up an extra AS qualification or two.
That's all

I don't burn at all - I don't even go brown, which is annoying. I went for an explore around the village where I do my paper round this morning, after I'd delivered the papers; I found a river and sunbathed by it for about half an hour, and my skin is exactly the same colour as it was when I started! Grr.
I did burn once, in Spain - because I hadn't put cream on thoroughly enough, so I had a very oddly-shaped burn on my back

Ya know Joe you might see a difference tomorrow. There's never a difference in my skin for about two days after being in the sun and then suddenly boing boing boing (as mam would say) suntan everywhere.

Jerms - a Brief flicker and then gone again. Posted Jun 20, 2005
Whereas I'm just a little jealous; it's wet and miserable here.
Much as I dislike the sun, it's better than this.

It's tomorrow...
I wouldn't say there's a noticeable browning on my arms, but then again the distinction between the top and bottom of my arms seems to be a lot less today... so maybe
