Cheapo rail tickets usually have to be booked in advance in my experience and with only a week to go I doubt whether any cheap ones would be available. I shall make enquiries though. My bloke drives a freight train but he used to driver passengers so I am sure he will be able to advise me.
I'm a bit concerned about the drunks on the train going home. Hmmmm .... still thinking about it.

I shall try to convince my boyfriend but I might not see him today and it will really depend on what shift he has next week.
I will let you know if I ever actually arrive at a decision.
