I know that lots of stand up comics die on their feet. Are they all revolutionaries too?
If so, should we shoot them if we disagree with them. I think that Zapata's strangely connected offspring would agree.

I must confess that I don't really know who Emiliano Zapata is, but I found that quote on the teletext and rather liked it. I'm struggling to come up with new ones now to keep that particular thread going.

Frank Zappa definitely still rules despite not being with us any longer. I didn't know that he was related to Emiliano Zapata but I always suspected that Captain Beefheart was related to King George III.

A good friend of mine was one of the new Zapatistas in the 70's and the current struggle in Mexico in Chiapas province is also run under the Zapatista Name - have a peep at http://zapatistas.net/62/ where subcomandante gives the Zapatista view on the struggle
