A Conversation for Talking Point: A Good Read
Ayn Rand

My favorite books are those by Ayn Rand. "Anthem", "Fountainhead", and "Atlas Shrugged" amazed me to read them and gave me a whole new view on life. She states her philosophies on life through amazing works of fiction. Her thoughts on life put the brain over the heart, and the ego and self over others. I realize this sounds selfish, but mostly she states to live life to live, not to avoid dying. It made me think about the meaning of life (a little cliche, I know, but it's true) and see things in a new light. She is definitly a wonderful author that should be on this list.
. . .And yes, I love Hitchhiker's, it is definitly a favorite, but these books are in a whole different category.
