for the catagory, recently discovered, Jasper Fforde writes in a most entertaining style about litary detective Thursday Next in what is currently a triogy!! The Eyre Affair, Lost in a good book & The well of lost plots are all briliant. Fantasy & humour in the vein of DNA, Phillip Pullman & Terry Pratchet, some great characters, lots of clever litary references (you dont have to be well read to spot them) and a liberal smattering of Dodos!!

Very excited, The Eyre Affair is the next book my reading group will tackle. It sounds fantastic, and there's a dodo on the cover.
