I've helped voluntary in a charity shops for several years..IMO..they're a great place to shop in..as well as the bargains you can get..they're usually very friendly..as the 'staff' are there because they want to be..not because they have to be..
If you have any unwanted xmas gifts at the back of a cupboard..your local charirty shop is a good place to take them..
