Sad news indeed, old pip. The oft-touted reunion episode must now, alas, take place within the precincts of St.Peter's Pearly Gates.

...or was that "Love Thy Neighbour"? Always got'em confused. 
I did manage to find the generous 10-word obit to the Don on Auntie's web-site, sandwiched between the return of Noily Edmonds to Radio2 and the earth-shattering item about Ant & Dec's antics with a goldfish on the end of their todgers...

Thank the lord for myself and the utterly charming Mr. Spimcoot for Holding The Fort as it were. And your good selves of course.
When you are somewhat more composed, pray trot acros to The Hootoo Home of Today (Archive at A1008550 , this weeks treat at A1127332 ) and Paper Cuts (Archive at A643583 , this weeks gem at A1126045 ),; hopefully this may restore a litlle faith in the Values & Precepts of yesteryear.

I have of course read your "Home of Today" article Ms Terri, and as always, enjoyed it immensely. Are you sure that the cocktail which you describe as the "Rat's Nose", is not in fact, the "Moles Nose" ? Hmmmmm ???

Good afternoon, dear Terri & Yodel,
I too have perused your most amusing entry and enjoyed it immensely. You have to hand it to that Bard cove on the motley fool quote, he certainly has all the bases covered, as the Colonials say.
I also wondered how one gets one's jottings - by this I mean cartoon scribbles - onto hootoo? I dabble with some, in my old buffery way. They are not unlike the kind of work perpetrated by that Steve Bell johnny you may have seen in The Grauniad. Only nowhere near as good, of course.
Any pointers on getting the bally things onto the board and making a complete arse of myself would be appreciated...
