At work, and surfing the net. Shame on me smiley - sadface

Went to see a dentist this morning. They are going to remove three of my wisdom tooths. GOSH!!! People, I'm afraid of that. On the other hand, a friend of mine went through the operation and it was easy for her. I'll just bet that for me it's going to be sheer torture and pain...

I have one thousand and two trivial things to do here at work. It is booring me to death. The sooner I would do it, the sooner it would be over. BUT here I am, on the net and doing my best to avoid closing the browser and going back to doing some proper, honest working. So I should take my hands away from the keyboard, grab the mouse and click the little cross at the top-right corner of this window. Then I should open another window and put my fingers back to the keyboard and continue there. Sounds easy right? Seem rather difficult actually.

AND perhaps I'm going crazy to actually write this down here.

Hathornefer (ACE) Near miss - isnt that what you'd call a hit

Right - some sound advice for you here my namesake.smiley - smiley

I only had three wisdom teeth and they have all been removed (perhaps this explains my mental state.)

If you have to go to hospital because of complications I would like to suggest you might want to have it done under local anisthetic. I have heard some real horror stories - but if you are 'awake' they will not be able to manhandle you. smiley - winkeye This will probably lead to less pain for you.smiley - ok

I was seen at Barts where they suggested I have my op under local anisthetic. I agreed. They struggled but couldnt manhandle me so I came out bruise and relitively pain free. The doctor then praised me for having it done under local anisthetic as others with lesser problems would have gone under general anisthetic. I then consumed a hearty sandwich and crisps in the hospital canteen beore the anishetic wore of and carried on as normal. I guess it a case of deciding if you dont want to be hurt or if you dont want to know when youre being hurt.

I will say though - I have not looked back since they came out I am a much happier person without those pescy wisdom teeth. It will be alright.smiley - biggrin

Now stop worrying and get back to work! smiley - laugh

Hathsmiley - cheerup

Thanks for reassuring me. The doctor assured me that since the teeth are still very much in good condition in general the operation is going to easy. Just an ordinary tooth removal. I have actually had that done in my teens, when two of those first teeth of mine didn't come loose on their own. They actually had three roots each. And they were long and curvy. This is not the same on the other hand... I think I will survive.

And now it is the beginning of the day... for the rest of the day I will know creep back here... smiley - smiley

Have a nice day.
