With lots of sheep. The Canadian and German students on the walk were quite puzzled about the lack of trees on the hills and mountains but I'd have thought the sheep were quite an obvious answer in themselves.

If you can't tell one apart from the other, what's the point in having anything other than a collective noun?

Me and my boyfriend lay awake one night trying to think of other animals that have the same singular and collective noun. Apart from , the only other one we came up with was deer.

Spent a good half hour on a coach trying to think of some with a couple of Americans and someone from Yorkshire, but all I can remember is Wilderbeast and Jellyfish, I'm sure we came up with about 20 though
