Hello Jodan.....
I was about to right an article on the Lincoln-Kennedy Similarities... when I noticed that you had already begun mentioning them in your entry....
you only mentioned six....out of which one is not true....
so... I was wondering if you want to update and add the rest of them.... (which I can send over) and take out the one with secretaries......
thanx...

Hullo.
The secretaries one isn't true? I've heard that in numerous places.
What're the others? When I was researching an entry on Lincoln, I thought of a few more. Both probably would have suffered from painful diseases had they not been shot during their presidency. They also would probably not have been as popular if they hadn't been shot (Lincoln was seen as a martyr, Kennedy was too, but it's more that scandals didn't come out because he was shot)
Are you talking about the Kennedy entry? If so, you can mention it in <./>Feedback-Editorial</.>. I don't think I mention anything in the Lincoln entries I have in PR.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both were shot in the head.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are comprised of fifteen letters
Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
A month before Lincoln was assassinated he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A month before Kennedy was assassinated he was in Marilyn Monroe.
Also Kennedy was in a Lincoln when he was shot.
I have heard that Lincoln was in Kennedy theatre...but I think that one is made up.

Don't I have some of those in? I know I've read most of them. But I don't really care so much about the more obscure ones (numbers of letters in names)
And I don't believe Kennedy was particularly concerned with Civil Rights. He was known for it, but in comparison to later presidents, he barely did anything about them.
Key: Complain about this post
