I think it's what I was used to, and what I expected. My VERY traditional family valued men far over women, so I thought it was normal. Really nice guys frightened me because I thought they were being phoney-baloney. At some point it occured to me that since "all" of the guys I'd dated were jerks, the problem must actually be me. With some dilligent work, I've improved considerably. I married a Mr. Right (he died a few years ago), and now enjoy the company of at least a few other Mr. Rights.

I would have though it so easy to pick out the phoneys,you see it all the time ,and wonder why girls ever went out with some of their outrages guys.I'm not wounded or anything i have the most wonderful wife anyone could wish for,but it is something we have discussed a lot in the past
