Nooo! I don't believe it. There was I, thinking how great it was that you got together after being BBC mates for all this time. Blimey what a palava, what with moving and all.
Was it really that bad, or are you both just a bit long in the tooth to take on new relationships, you know, got used to your own company? I know I got used to mine a long time back when I had a spell without a partner for a few years. But you'll get back into the social circles, you wait and see. Join a club or something, get some girlie mates to hang out with.
Where are your cats?

Well, GG - we couldn't stay apart for long - the past couple of weeks have been pretty hard going, but we're getting there. He's not living here at the moment, but I'm going to get things sorted here, get everything unpacked, and hopefully when he moves back in there won't be so much pressure on us both, as I think the disruption of moving was just about the last straw after everything we've been through these last 18 months or so. Yes, think you're also right about being set in our ways - that is definitely a problem we need to work on, but at least we both recognise that! Ohhh, life's rich tapestry, eh?!!

Keep looking out for you when I'm out and about in the town ... smiley - winkeye (actually, I try to avoid going into town, but then end up at Weston Favell instead, which is even worse! Apart from that, its a nice part of the world around here, innit? smiley - smiley

Bye for now, hope all is ok with you

Cheers smiley - ale

Just found your reply. It's a funny thing this section, there's no way of knowing unless you go looking for it.
Glad you got that sorted. Does he post on here at all? Not under a pseudonym? I have a forum mate on here, I wondered if it was him, but daren't ask, in case it's not him and I sound weird smiley - biggrin
I never go into any big town, unless I'm working there or desperate. I get my shopping at Towcester, small enough for me, not too much traffic.

Hi there, GG! Sorry it’s taken a long time to get back to you, I keep being restricted from posting – apparently I have been banned from the whole of the BBC site, although that’s not exactly how I see things. I got into a bit of an argument with some old biddies on the Archers messageboard, they really laid into me, and I was trying to defend myself, but guess who ends up being the baddie? I was put on pre-mod, and received a nasty email from the board moderator, so I told him I wouldn’t be bothering to post there any more. He emailed back saying “I’ll close your account then”. Now it has all blown over, or so I thought, I keep trying to sign up again, and keep having my account closed and being told it is because I was originally “banned” from the site, which I don’t agree that I was. Bloody hell, GG, you’d think I was the most evil troll on the plant the way I’ve been treated by people on that Archers messageboard – and all after I posted there every single day for a year, all in good humour (you know *me*, GG! As if I would be anything other, unless I was goaded into it!). Anyway, it has all been quite upsetting to be honest, I can’t believe quite how vindictive some of the people on the messageboard have been, people I became friends with offboard – stupid lot!

What with that, and things that have been happening with A and me – that has been a bloody rollercoaster, I can tell you! One minute we’re back together, next minute its all off again, next back together, next off again - pleased to say things are looking a bit more positive now … spose its whats generally known as a stormy relationship (which it probably was even right back when we were talking on the messageboard – I seem to remember us arguing a bit on that word game, and you stepping in, then A saying something about not needing any relationship advice!!) But I think you are right in what you said originally, in that we are both knocking on a bit (he’s 38 and me 46!) and both used to our own ways, so that causes more than a few sparks sometimes!

I don’t think A is posting on any of the BBC boards anymore, he told me he doesn’t and anyway, he seems to be so wrapped up in our probs, and with work at the moment, so I doubt the person you’ve been speaking to would be him – surely there isn’t someone else that sounds like him?!! (He certainly used to get a few people’s backs up on that POV board with his different approach! Ohh, it all used to be so much fun though! &#61514smiley - winkeye

Anyway, yes, good idea to go into Towcester instead of the main town, although having said that, I’m quite getting to like Northampton town centre with the old market place, etc – believe it or not, I used to come up here on holiday quite often and really liked it then, with all the lovely villages and canals around and about – took a bit of getting used to when I moved up from Sussex, bit of a shock to the system I suppose because I didn’t know anyone up here, but I really love it now, the countryside, and the big skies you get up here, is really fab. I’m over in the west of Northampton, so drive over to Daventry occasionally for a change, plus have also driven down to Towcester a couple of times, but for the ‘big shops’ just go into the main town.

Anyway, not sure if I will manage to get this message through .. going to give it a go now .. (although I might have to use yet another different name ..!)

Cheers

(Blimey, it worked! Must just be the Archers board I've been banned from this time ... perhaps I'll try posting back on the POV board then smiley - smiley)

Hi back, just been talking about you with Angelic back on POV.I wondered if you were still about. Big gaps in our conversations!

Got a whole load of new friends there as well. My friend can't be A, he is a film buff, but not as, shall we say, controversial on other subjects.

If you come back to POV, leave the secret code word so we know it's you...erm...what will it be? Dunno. We'll work it out.

Oi, you two! Stop talking about me .. then again, in the words of dear old OW, there's only one thing worse than being talked about .. and all that! smiley - smiley (What thread was that anyway?!!)

<>

That's one way of putting it - and A certainly has a 'special way' with words to boot!!

Anyway, just had to sign up again .. the bluebell a/c seems to have been locked now. Might try posting on POV under this new account and see how that goes .. maybe if I just stay away from that Archers board, I might not get noticed (although one person I fell out badly with, Dragonfluff, posts regularly on POV, so I need to try and avoid her - I think she could probably sniff me out pretty quickly smiley - sadface Isn't it stupid that a lovely, well-liked poster (smiley - biggrin) like me can be stopped from posting on this site in such an unceramonious fashion - its those horrid bullies in the Archers that should be banned, not me smiley - sadface

If I post on POV it will be under this name, so you'll may see me about soon .. then again, bit busy coming up to xmas, so might not get chance until the new year.

Have a good one, won't you GG - all the best to you and your family smiley - ale, take care now and hope to speak again soon (if I don't get chucked off again!)

Jan/Pan/Bluebell/WWiW!

Hi U13757724smiley - winkeye I was wondering how you first posted a message to me on here. I was trying to do the same to someone else who is on POV, but haven't filled out their personal space bit on here. It seems I can't post to them until they do that. However, I hadn't when you first sent me a message, so how did you do it?

Hope you both have a nice Christmas too. Good luck. GG , oh what the hell...XX
