trouble with my difference engine . . .

Lately I've found that when enjoying symphonic works on my digital gramophone, the auditory vibrations have been distorted in a rather arbitrary way. I spent some time and effort determining that the problem was not in the archaic 'hi-fidelity' system to which I had connected my difference engine, nor was it in the wire which connected my difference engine to the 'hi-fidelity'. Fortunately, through the mediation of the 'Elizabethan Telegraph'* I was able to discover the frustration of the works. After retrieving and mounting the appropriate more modern ethereal temporators and magical quintessences for the auditory modules of my difference engine, I found that I could once again enjoy the symphonic works I had earlier converted into ceg3 style without the bother of odd modulations of the auditory vibrations. As well, it seems that my difference engine is functioning with greater rapidity.
I recommend to all that they maintain their difference engines with the most current ethereal temporators and magical quintessences.

Already seen it.
Actually, I've learned and adapted some things from here: http://steampunkworkshop.com/electroetch.shtml
I do saltwater electrolytic etching of all sorts of stuff. If you work with the right image, you get some quite astounding effects.
