Indeed Zoomer!
An elderly gentleman I teach english to here in Tokyo used to have a branch office of his company in Vancouver and do "outward Bound" type training programs there. This guy has travelled to upwards of 25 countries - (so far, but he's pushing 80 now so he's not driving the paris-dakar rally route with his pals THIS year-seriously, the guys is unreal) simply put, he has been around. Vancouver is his third favorite city after Bombay (most exciting) and Lagos (most exotic) because it was the most cosmopolitan. He's thinking about retiring there someday.
Vancouver - most cosmopolitan. Not New York, not London, not Paris --Lil' ole Vancouver

I've said it before (and, knowing me, I'll probably say it again) I don't understand why there is this seemingly paranoid, terrified reaction to the very suggestion of official multiculturalism in so many places, including here on HooToo.
Now, I've said it before (and, knowing me, I'll probably say it again) I'm going to go mix myself another caesar.
