Hi - I really want to learn sign language, but Im not sure where to satrt. Can you help at all????

Hi Pantherlady,
I can give you a few suggestions. If I were you, I would try and find a class. Most areas have some kind of Deaf club or agency that offers sign classes. Also, many colleges have started offering it as a language. If you can, try to find a class with a Deaf teacher as it's always better to learn from a native signer.
Another suggestion is just to get involved in the Deaf community, volunteering. Even if you are in a class, socializing with the Deaf and practicing your skills is the best way to get good. It can also be tons of fun, the Deaf tend to be very social people.
