h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Now I have to write about someone I’ve met a while ago, but never got to know. His name is David… not that original, but still. First time I saw him was the day when I moved in my new “home” – the dorms. He was helping people to move heavy things upstairs. At that point I thought that he was a senior, since he knew his way around so well. After that I’ve met him several times on the stairs. The real day when we actually met (as in introduced) was Halloween party in our building. At that point he said that he was from the fourth floor (the gay floor). I got upset, because I liked him. But later, I don’t remember how many days passed, we met in the cafeteria (and started talking). Our conversation somehow turned out to be about gay people, and I said something about him, on which he said that he was the only straight person on his floor. At that moment I was really happy. Last Saturday I’ve met him again on the stairs again, he was moving out. The reason was his “straightness” – although no one knows what really happened. Apparently someone told on him… and they forced him out. So, I helped him to move out, and then we went for dinner together. Don’t ask me what happened but he gave me a hug. And it was so soft and nice, I mean the real hug! At that point I melted =) Today I’ve met him again in the cafeteria. We talked about different things and it was so comfortable, and he gave me another hug. Then I walked him to his class, he gave me his sweater (it was freezing). He is sooo nice….

Now I’ll jump to another topic inspired by the word “nice”. It’s not really a topic. I just wanted to thank God for my friends. When I’m alone (or not) I think about my friends, and the more I think, the more I realize how good they are. Each person is a treasure, a thousand words won’t describe them. I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!!! Thank you GOD!!!!!

Back on Earth. These are my last 2 hours on campus before I go home for the first time! At first I didn’t want to leave, but now I’m very excited! Right now I love my life!….
