I'm trying to sort out the illogistics for MoG's visit, and have realised that, at the very least, I'l have to get from Gatwick to yours by public transport. Very happy to do so, but need to find out how!
F2598048?thread=2210227 explains why.
By the way - have you been to an osteo yet for that back?

Ace. I'll pick it up tonight.
I am really looking forward to all this. Are you going to be able to join us for any more of it? The London Bits perhaps?

Should manage to do some of the London bits. Bags me go into the BM first - so I can photo MoG's face when she comes in the door and looks up at that glass roof.

Slight change of planio - doesn't really impact on the London bits, other than that we travel down to London on the morning of Monday 3rd, probably by public transport, instead of travelling down on the evening of Sunday 2nd, probably by car.
The big diff is that we stay in or near London on the night of Tuesday 28th. We get back to Gatwick about midday on the Tuesday, and I thought "Kew Gardens" for the afternoon since I've not been there and they are pretty spectac even for non-gardeners. What I cannot remember is which day you and Mr T come back from Seville. And of course I am batting eyelashes in the hope that MoG, Z and I can stay with you on the 28th if you are back. .

*amazed that anyone can bat eyelids at this time of day - I'm still prising mine apart
We were supposed to be flying back on the Monday - but the flight's been cancelled and we're now flying on the Tuesday - quite probably the same flight as you
28th looks good for spare beds etc. Kew is impressive - but have you thought about Wisley? Both are within 45 mins of here.
My naughty daughter and her bf were showing univ friends pictures of the main building at Wisley and easily convinced them that we lived there They did say we only had one wing - and had to share the gardens
MoG would possibly be wowed by the Marianne North Pavillion at Kew - Hyp loved it.
Got verbal di-horrors this morning - must get more

Well, I'm obviously not actually any good at eyelid batting, as demonstrated. Off the top of my head the Tuesday flight which we are on is leaving 10ish and arriving 12ish.
MoG seems very happy with unstructured plans, and she and Z and I are all blue meanies and prefer cheap or low cost things to expensive ones. We can play the day as we like it, really. I just wanted to have some thoughts about what would be pleasant to do.
It'll be a lovely day, whatever we do.
How's your back? Still giving you excuses to see that Australian?

Kew's a tenner each to get into.
Wisley's £7.50 each - but I can get two people in for free.
You can take the girl out of Aiberdeen.........etc.
I'm a great believer in 'going with the flow' - and serendipitous happenings.
Drives my sister if we're on holiday with them because she likes to plan to the last minute detail and stick rigidly to it - and I prefer to decide at the last moment.

Re Ozzie physios - I nearly disgraced myself yesterday when he told me I had excellent flexibility, as he had me on my back with alternate legs being 'waggled' about in a ceiling-wards direction.
Was very tempted to offer to show him some of my other flexibilities
Oh dearie me.

Well a friend of mine runs a weekend massage course which really is very good. http://www.maitri.co.uk/ - she runs them once or twice a year, and they are highly recommended by yours truly.
The next one is April 8th/9th, which is a bit short notice, http://www.maitri.co.uk/courses/massageintro.htm but Sheila's a honey, and will certainly put you on an unobtrusive mailing list.
