... and welcome to h2g2 - again.
I know this is all rather belated but I'm one of the <./>ACEs</.> (Assistant Community Editors) who volunteered to help show people around the site. I've been checking back into the h2g2 archives for researchers who might otherwise think they had been ignored.
I suspect you don't need any help but, since you've only recently activated your personal space, I thought I'd drop by just in case.
One thing h2g2 has a lot of, as well as researchers, is these <./>Smileys</.>. You can use them in your personal space and other articles, conversations and journal entries. You just type the shortcut text and they appear as if by magic on preview or posting. For example: < rainbow > without the spaces becomes . If you're ready for more of a challenge, you might try some Guide-ML (see <./>DontPanic-GuideML</.>
to really change the format of your page. For example, the <./>GuideML-PictureLibrary</.> has a map of Canada but there are many other graphics too. Don't forget to change the style option from the plain text default to Guide-ML when you edit your page this way though.
If you have a question, click on the reply link below and I'll be back. Otherwise, feel free to ignore this message.

Why thank you for your friendlyness.
I like the guide for reading the entries and posting questions. I feel bad I havn't written anything, but I have been trying to get abit more into the community, thus the journal entry and making an introduction.
Is there any place where people post topics they'd like to read about?

I don't know a single answer to your question, but I've occasionally seen people post suggestions for a new talking point. Are you thinking merely of reading yourself or of writing the ones which other people wanted?
Assuming the latter, I think it depends on which way you want to <./>Contribute</.> I suggest you have a look at that link first (particularly the mention of the flea market of abandoned articles). Then try University where you might be able to post a suggestion and can see what projects are underway. You could check the categories on the front page for a subject which is missing. None of the <./>Feedback</.> pages seem quite right for suggesting topics but <./>Feedback-Editorial</.> looks closest. Failing all that you could post your own question on <./>Askh2g2</.> or keep an eye out for active topics (long threads which frequently bounce to the top) or anyone else asking for something they want. Unfortunately the titles aren't always a very good guide to content.
Incidentally, your nickname is allowed to have capital letters and spaces in it if you want (like your sign off). If you change it all its appearances in conversations will automatically be updated too (because the pages are created afresh from the data-base each time although the servers can occasionally be a bit slow).
I'd better be going. So much trouble to cause, so little time. You know how to find me if you want me. [Glad to be of service] Argghh! - those wretched doors...
