Brilliant, up until the laser tripwire level which is utterly stupid.
I thought the London that was mapped for MSR on the Dreamcast looked nicer, but the Getaway London is more fun to drive around.
BT are complainging that their van is being associated with criminals in the game. DOH! Maybe they should have realised that when they first agreed for their image to be used :>

Very true. I do like the way the London Buses can get past anything!!!

Well it's been quite a few months now since I last played this, and I still think that the car chases are the most exciting I've encountered. The car physics are just right. When I went back to playing Grand Theft Auto, it seemed very 'floppy' and lightweight in comparison.
If only it weren't for the stupid laser tripwires. (Can't he just hold his breath and run through them all, or turn off the power or something?)

Yeah, I'm with you on the laser section. It was the only point in the game when I thought "this is really not worth it". Anyway, still managed to complete the game too quickly. Only took about 28 hours of gameplay. They've just got to make a sequel, with more of London, I'd love to be able to drive past my house! A few more weapons would be nice.

Is the rest of the game worth me trying to get past the laser bit? I'm curious about the other story mode.
Not too bothered about extra weapons, as every urban weapon 'type' seems to be covered, is there any point in different models?
Having said that I would want to see a wider variety of cars.
I guess there's only so much you can fit onto a CD in addition to a full london map :>
BTW did you find any of the hidden concept cars?

oooh, yeah. You're missing out on the other half of the game when you play a rozza - the first mission is in a particularly sleazy brothel. Fewer car chases though, unfortunately, as the police aint on your back all the time (obviously).
Found the tank, which is good fun, though you may have to complete the game first. It fires shells, which is quite satisfying. Found 2 very fast cars on one of the missions, a lotus and something else.

i'd like to be able to actually select the weapon you use in a sequel. and definately have more cars, BMWs, Mercs etc. although the Aston Martin is very nice...
and there are lots of roads and parts of London missed out. e.g., the road that links Cavandish Square to Oxford Street has just disappeared!!!
