I see you've already found some of the nice smileys. I rather like the new bluetit but have little occasion to use it. Hopefully one of the ACEs (Assistant Community Editors) will be along shortly to welcome you properly with some interesting places to visit and helpful hints.

I notice that you've gone off-line while I'm writing this so slowly! In case you come back before they do, you might like to check what articles have already been written on natural history and consider whether you would like to contribute on some topic. You should find the links to Life, the Universe and Everything somewhere (it is on the right hand side of the front page for me). A152308 was the first related subject I found. Simply chatting is OK too. You should also be able to see the Busiest Conversations list from the front page. There are some fun things you can do in your Personal Space if you use GuideML instead of plain text when editing it. You should find all sorts of information if you try the SEARCH h2g2 box. Then there's that Infinite Improbability Drive...
