There's a thread in Ask about if there are any researchers that share your hootoo birthday.

I've just done a bit of trawling and come up with a few including dodderyoldfart, who I remember and who I talked to the day we both joined (25th December 2002).

He apparently runs a camp ground even though he hates them. And he's old and a bit curmudgeonly. I'm thinking I could have a look round NZ and see if I can find him. It's not that big really and I'm sure it would take less time than I spend pfaffing round on these kinds of endeavours on h2*.
There was another one too, senwad:
U212643 (dodderyoldfart and him talked that year too )
*I'm sure there is an entry to be made about the time wasting activities specific to h2g2.
