To me Friday is the worst day of the week. Everyone is cranky waiting for the end of the work week, and when it does end they are way too enthusiastic about celebrating it.
So during the day everyone is tired and ornery, and at night everyone is drunk and ornery.
Things tend to go wrong because of this. A teacher grading a paper will tend to get angrier at your mistakes. Your boss will tend to have little patience for any problems that involve you. Everyone seems to be both cross and on thier guard on Friday and that is never a good combination.

Mondays are easier 'cause everyone is so tired from the weekend and bummed out about a whole week to get through that they really don't care about anything and you can get away with everything.
