Hi WebWitch,
Because I replied on a message from you I decided to take a look on your 'profile'. Looks interesting! So you are an ex-pat living in the USA? Well, I am Dutch, but 3 years ago I have lived in the UK for 10 months. (Sorry if this sentence wasn't correct, I am still trying to improve my English, so please...forgive me.)
My English ex-colleague reads a lot of books and sents them to me when he read them. That way I get into English literature (well, literature, not really but just amazingly good books), he gave me the 'His Dark Materials'trilogy as a b'day present and some other English books too. I know the website you are talking about, I have got some of those in my favorites too. And I am quite interested in the Witchcraft thing. We (my gf and I) have been to Dartmoor and when back in Holland someone gave a lecture about Dartmoor. About the mytical creatures that might or might not still live there. Pixxies, Elves, Giants, Witches... It was really interesting and now that I have read your profile... I would be interested in talking to you a bit more. At least we share a love for the BBC. I do everything with them. The BBC tv channels are programmed on the first 3 channels, after that we have programmed the Dutch channels. And I listen to BBC Radio online all the time...
Hope to hear from you!
Bye, Jacqueline

Hi
Sorry not to have got back to you - I tend to forget to check my personal page for new posts (I don't know why, I just do).
Your English is very good, by the way, and as I don't speak anything but English (which is embarrassingly true for too many of us Anglophones) I am even more impressed!
Take care

Hiya,
Well, I'll forgive you!
Don't be too impressed! My English is not nearly good enough. I do know what you are talking about with the 'not speaking any other language' though. A lot of my British friends have got the same problem. But they don't really see it as a problem because most people around the world speak (or try to speak) English anyway...
I thought your personal page was really interesting. I don't know much about Wicca but occasionally I hear things about it. It is a sort of lifestyle, not just a believe, isn't it? Please tell me if I am totally wrong...

I suppose that any religious sincerely held is a "lifestyle", and that there will be those who base their entire lives around their religious beliefs and those who only pay lip-service. Because Wicca's not big on dogma and doctrine, each Wiccan is free to interpret how their beliefs should be integrated into their life. There are some widely agreed upon tenets of faith (i.e. both male and female deities; the Earth is sacred; etc.), but as there is no central authority interpretations differ widely.
I'm a "lifestyle" Wiccan, I suppose
