The Project
After having searched the web in vain trying to find web-based listings of when and where open folk music sessions take place I though we could try to start one here. I'm living in Glasgow and will start with those that I know and as people reply I'll try to keep the list up to date.

This pub has a very folk-friendly atitude in general and holds an open session on Sunday nights. On the plus side it is a good group of musicians who appear happy to play along with a wide variety of folk styles.
THE LIOSMORE BAR - 206 Dumbarton Rd
I started attending Tuesday sessions at this pub recenlty. It is not a big group and not suitable for a lot of people but welcomes in the occasional straggler.
