h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So, what do people think about this one? While the author is technically AWOL, I'd hate to see this go to the FM. Do other people think this one is Edited Guide ready?

I don't think it is, though I'm a bit hard-pressed to say why not. I don't think that it's detailed enough, and doesn't really set the scene. It could turn into an "Ideology of the PRC" article, or a "recent history of China", but I'm not sure it's quite there as it is. But I'm struggling a bit to express exactly why it's not suitable, so I'm prepared to be convinced otherwise.
