I love the STCCG!!!
I have around 9 players each game and we think it's great.
Definatly one of the most excellent card games around!

It's a good fun game, but around here (Warwick uni) there are those who take it too seriously.

You can't take it too seriously, that defeats the purpose. (Unless you are trying to become the world champion, in which case it is marginally acceptable. smiley - winkeye)

Fun cards and decks are the way to play. My personal favourite is Protection Racket. That card has way too many possiblities. smiley - smiley

I currently have over 4 shoe box's worth of the bloody cards and now my mates have all gone off to uni, theres no one to play it with. Any one know the current price listings of the cards? Anyone played some of the latest expansions?

The people on the trade board at http://www.decipher.com might be able to put a value on your cards, or at least point you to somebody who can.

I'm still playing up to the current expansion (The Trouble With Tribbles). What was the last expansion you got cards from?

The last expansion i bought were Rules Of Acquisition. But then i realised i had spent a good deal of mulla on the cards and not enough on food and clothes. Ahh but such is life when theres a fantastically addictive game to play.....

Bah! Food and clothes are overrated! You could always fashion something out of your old commons. smiley - winkeye

I made my house out of my old commons.
Any idea if the Dragonball Z CCG is any good?

No, I haven't tried it yet. I've seen some fairly good reviews, though.

Well ive played the demo and i found it very faithfull to the tv series and it played really great! did you know a ST CCG card was bundled with the PC game StarTrek Amarda?

Yes, the infamous USS Jupiter. Since I don't play Federation, I decided I didn't need a made up ship with a useless (at the time) special ability. They are still printing cards based on the Armada game, however.

Did u ever buy the Fajo collection? A friend of mine bought it from America and we played with some of the cards. Their neat in a kooky startrek kinda way. But he ate the chewing gum that comes with one of the cards. whoops.

The Fajo is a good collection to have. I have used Dixon Hill's Business Card (event part) extremely effectively. Sadly it has also been used against me effectively as well.

I won a tournament in Birmingham of Young Jedi, but don't read too much into that as my opponents consisted of a person who would not give up the first planet despite the fact I had two tanks with their weapons and 7 battle droids 2 with weapons on it. To his one Jedi. Oh yeah and the guy with the Padme deck with one Padme in it, which he lost in damage after the first fight.
